Rocky Dale Walker

Rocky Dale Walker, 61, of Rombauer, MO departed this life and was reunited with loved ones in heaven on September 24, 2024. Rocky was born on May 14, 1963, to Larry and Laura Walker in Gallatin, Tennessee where he grew up before later moving to Missouri.

Rocky lived his life to the fullest and spent time doing the things he loved. In earlier years, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with his brother, Don. Rocky enjoyed dirt track racing with his brother, Billy Wayne. He later enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team and held a long streak of being undefeated. Once his children grew older and grandchildren came, he found his favorite enjoyment in being a grandpa, and man was he a great one.  In the latest years of his life, Rocky enjoyed BBQing, drinking his beer, watching Nascar, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Rocky touched many lives during his time here on earth. He will forever be missed, and his memories will live on in our hearts, until the day we meet again.

Rocky is survived by his mother and stepfather, Laura and Eddie Miller, of Rombauer, MO; 3 brothers, Don (Avis) Walker of Koshkonong, MO, Billy Wayne Walker of Rombauer, and Clay Walker of Jacksonville, FL; 2 sisters, Laurie Walker of Rombauer and Barbara (Wayne) Hoover of Woodbury, TN; 3 daughters, Amanda(Dereck) Graves of Rombauer, Misti Kendle of Rombauer, Jamaicia (Selena) Putman of Fairdealing, MO; 2 sons, Rocky Jr (Michelle) Walker of Rombauer and Arizona (Katie) Walker of Poplar Bluff, MO; 2 bonus sons whom he claimed as his own, Adam Walker and Austin Floyd of Fisk, MO; 19 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Rocky was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Larry and Janie Walker of Bradyville, TN and the love of his life, Sheila Kendle.
