Kenneth Eugene Gilbreath

Kenneth Eugene “Kenny” Gilbreath, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in his home.

Kenny was born August 16, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to John Gilbreath and Mary (Davis) Gilbreath. He married Karisa (Kay) Gorman on May 18, 1979 at the 1st Christian Church of Poplar Bluff.

He was a life-long resident of Poplar Bluff.  He loved being outdoors, and never went anywhere without a puzzle book handy.  Kenny was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Poplar Bluff.  Above all Kenny loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife: Kay Gilbreath; two sons Robert (Susan) Gilbreath of Alanta, Georgia and James (Jessica) Gilbreath of Dexter; one brother John Edward (Suzie) Gilbreath of Jonesboro, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Hallie, Jackson, Cash, Sean, Jon, Deigo, Kennedy, Kashlynn and Olivia; and one great grandchild: June Marie.   He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Gilbreath.  A host of family and friends also survive.
