Jack Edward Mcdowell

Jack Edward McDowell, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

He was born February 11, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Jack Carl McDowell and Ellen (Hampton) McDowell.

Jack was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff. He was a member of Palace of Praise Church. He enjoyed fishing, woodcrafts, working in his yard and landscaping. He loved to spend time with his family.

Jack is survived by one son: Clayton (Kristen) McDowell; one daughter: Kelly Batchelor; five sisters: Helen Hawthorn, Lee (Chuck) Lewis, Sue West, Judy (Larry) Lucas and Debbie (Leroy) Parker; and three grandchildren: Tyler McDowell, Kynzy Batchlor and Mallory McDowell. He is preceded in death by his parents: Jack and Ellen McDowell. A host of family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
