Charles, "Chuck" Sutton, 71, of Glennonville, Mo. died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his home. Charles was born June 13, 1943 to the late Terry Albert Sutton, Sr. and Viola O'Linda Caroline Evering Sutton. He was a long time resident of the Glennonville and Malden, Mo. area. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was married to Ruth Sticht from June 1964 to Nov. 2002. In 2004 he married Tanya King, she survives. Charles proudly served in the United States Navy for eight years 1960-1968. Early in is life he had worked at the Colonial Federal Savings & Loan, and Felix Hampton Realty. As a journalist he worked for the Journal, Press Merit, and the Delta News. He was later known for his work at the KMAL radio station. Most recently he was a web site designer for Creative Design Group. Other than his wife, he is survived by one son, Randal Louis Sutton of Malden; one daughter, Terri Michelle Sanders of Olathe, Kan.; two brothers Terry Albert Sutton Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., and Edward Henry Sutton (Carol) of St. Charles, Mo.; one sister, Shirley Rodig of Arlington Heights, Ill., and five grandchildren, Emma and Bryson Sanders of Olathe, Christopher Sutton of Malden, Havyn Willis-King and Emma Willis of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Also preceding him in death were one sister, Caroll Sutton-Palazzolo and one son, Cory King.
