Wilma E. Burwell

Wilma E. Burwell, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Oakdale Care Center.  She was born Feb. 16, 1930 in Poplar Bluff to the late Eldon Palmer and Stella Flannigan Palmer.  Wilma was a life time resident of Poplar Bluff.  She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband John D. MacDonald.  Wilma was a retired registered nurse.  She enjoyed watching television.

She is survived by three sons, John MacDonald (Debra), Bob MacDonald (Camille) and Brain MacDonald (Sheri) all of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon Palmer Jr. and Harold Palmer; two sisters, Wanda Clover and Lavern Risting.

A graveside service will be at 11 AM on Friday, March 29, 2019 at City Cemetery.  Rev. Frank Chlastak will officiate.  Service is being arranged by Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home.
