Walter Lee Stone

Walter Lee Stone, 57, of Wappapello, Mo, died July 7, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Center. He was born October 31, 1956 to the late Walter Stone and Eunice Losh Stone. He was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Walter worked for the state of Missouri as a tree trimmer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, wood working and working on old cars. Walter is survived by one son, George Pryor of Wappapello, Mo.; one daughter Stefanie Pryor of Grandin, Mo.; two close friends, Rodger Goodale and Thomas Deaton; and two grandchildren, Jacob Pryor and Niki Lumpkins both of Puxico, Mo.He was also preceded by his grandfather, Leroy Johnson.No service is scheduled at this time.
