Virginia L. Fowler, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Cape ;Girardeau, Mo. She was born in Ellsinore, Mo. September 9, 1935. Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Palace of Praise Church. She was a childrens Sunday school teacher, enjoyed gardening, reading, and sewing. She married Thomas Henry Fowler, February 28, 1953 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Thomas D. Fowler of Baytown, Tx., Bruce Fowler of Houston, Tx. and Curtis E. Fowler of Fairdealing, Mo.; three daughters, Donna R. Moreno, Pamela D. Duckett both of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Virginia L. Hicks of Williamsville, Mo.; one brother, Donald E. Forsythe of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Vernon Frances Bess of Poplar Bluff, MO.; an sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis E. Forsythe and Zelda Lillian Simpson Forsythe; two brothers, Marvin L. Forsythe and Martin E Forsythe; and one sister, Elsie L. Sparks. Visitation will be Wednesday July 17, 2013 at 5 to 7 P.M. in the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be Thursday July 18, 2013 at 10 A.M. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Kent Miller officiating.
