Violet F. Metz

Violet Faye Metz, 82, of St. Peters, Mo. died at her residence March 14, 2016. She was born to the late Willie Woods and Sylvia Eaton Woods June 30, 1933 in New Port, Ark. Before retiring she work as a secretary. Mrs. Metz was married to her husband Rex Metz for 65 years. He survives. Also surviving are grandchildren Parker Metz and Kaitlyn Metz and their mother Barbara Metz Beckner all of St. Charles, Mo., and nieces Frankie Gray of Jonesboro, Ark. and Kay Marlin of Little Rock, Ark. Preceding her in death were two sons, Ricky Metz and Mike Metz; and brothers, James Woods and Orvist Woods. There will be a graveside service Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Ron Beckner and Ken Longar will officiate.
