Vernon Henry Osborne

Vernon Henry Osborne, 79, of Williamsville, MO, died Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home with his children by his side.  He was born December 21, 1941 at Shook, MO to the late Cecil and Mary (Gilbreath) Osborne.

He was married to Virginia Linda Chiles on January 18, 1963; to this union three children were born.  Virginia passed away March 23, 2010. Vernon was loved by all who knew him, his friends, and his boss, Jim Cornell.  All of his buddies called him “Tater.”  He loved deer hunting, walking in the woods and visiting with friends.

Vernon is survived by his two sons, Ricky Osborne of Williamsville and Timothy Osborne of Eugene, OR; one daughter, Tammy Ethridge of Williamsville; two sisters, Virgie Nunn of Poplar Bluff and Vernell Luke of Williamsville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Virgil Osborne and one sister, Vernia Lee Brawley.
