Thomas Alvin Walker

Thomas Alvin Walker, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, in his home.

He was born August 24, 1955, Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Freddie E. Walker and Eva Joyce (Sollars) Walker.

Thomas was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed fishing and collecting bb guns and knives.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Thomas is survived by one son: Shawn Thomas Walker of Montana; three daughters: Diana Walker of Poplar Bluff, Rebecca Lee Versteeg of Gladewater, Texas and Shon Lea Mares of Poplar Bluff; one brother Fred Walker of Springfield; two sisters: Sheila Trucks of Trucksville and Janice Walker of Salem and eight grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Freddie and Eva Walker; one brother: Randall Walker and one sister Amanda Jean Glasscock.
