Theresa Marie Irene Smothers, 87, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died December 31, 2016 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home. She was born July 15, 1929 in St Louis, Mo. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Smothers, and one brother, Alex Schallert. A graveside service was held at City Cemetery January 18, 2017.
