Susan Dawn (Smith) Elsworth

Susan Dawn Elsworth, 47, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021.  She was born in Poplar Bluff on July 8, 1974 to Rodney Smith and Kathy Garrison.

She married Tim Elsworth on July 29, 1994 in Poplar Bluff to which four children were born.  She was a practicing LPN at Family Counseling Center of Poplar Bluff.  Susan was an artist of many talents and crafts too.  She enjoyed a good camping trip to Cloud 9.  Susan’s greatest pleasure was helping others due to her big heart.  A confidante to all that needed an ear and when someone was in need she was the first to volunteer.  Susan was a great mom to her sons and daughters and loving wife to her dear husband.  Family was her love.

Susan is survived by her parents, Rodney Smith, Kathy Garrison (Charles), her husband, Tim Elsworth; two sons, Trevor Dean Elsworth and Mark Cameron Elsworth of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Amber Dawn Elsworth of Poplar Bluff and Kylie Brooke Elsworth of Ellsinore; one brother, Ryan Smith (Camille) of Maryland Heights, MO and four sisters, Kristy Hornbeck (Steve), Christina Wiggs (Scott), Casey Salyer (Christian) and Heather Lampe (Jake), all of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be Monday, October 18, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Fitch-Hillis Chapel.  Service will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Fitch-Hillis Chapel.  Rev. Tim Ingle will be the speaker.  Burial will be at the City Cemetery.  Social distancing and masks are recommended.
