Sue Marie Breckenridge

Sue Marie Breckenridge, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023.

She was born Jan. 17, 1958, Abilene, Texas to Thomas Cross and Mary (Ridings) Cross.

Sue was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff.  She enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, doing yard work, gardening, and buying lottery tickets.  She loved being with her family.

Sue is survived by one son: Richard Breckenridge of Poplar Bluff; one daughter: Mary Breckenridge of Poplar Bluff; one brother: Tommy Cross of Poplar Bluff; one sister: Lynn Ashbough of Poplar Bluff; one granddaughter: Sabrina Breckenridge of Poplar Bluff; two step-grandchildren: Mikayla Boone and Hailee Boone, both of West Plains; very close family friends: Michelle and Sharon Campbell.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Mary Cross; one daughter: Sarah Breckenridge; one brother: John Cross.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct.  9, 2023 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel with Bishop Ronnie Webb officiating.  Fitch-Hillis funeral home is assisting with all arrangements.
