Stanley Aaron Burden, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with his loving wife and his dog Bonnie by his side.
He was born on July 23, 1951 in East St. Louis, Illinois, to W. A. Burden, Jr. and Dorthy Louise (Jenkins) Burden. On February 1, 1984 in Poplar Bluff, Stanley married Reta Anderson
Stanley enjoyed hunting, working on computers, and playing his twelve-string guitar. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Reta Burden; three sons, Joe Fowler, Chad Eads, and Ron Eads; one daughter Angel Brown; three brothers, Mark Rainwater of Piedmont, Allen Rainwater of Poplar Bluff, and Johnny Burden of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, W.A. Burden and Dorthy Shelton; one daughter, Tracy Ramos; and four sisters, Kay McElvain, Barbara Daughterty, Sandy Catlett, and Donna Rhoden. A host of family and friends survive.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
