Siletta Franchel Shaw

Siletta Franchel Shaw, 33, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

She was born January 10, 1990, Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Henry Miller and Earleta Shaw.

Siletta was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff.  She enjoyed coloring, taking care of others, spending time with her family. Siletta had a hard journey but made sure her boys and mother were always taken care of. She went above and beyond for her children. Siletta prepared her children especially Lamarius for a time when she would no longer be with them. She was the definition of a strong woman and will be missed by many.

Siletta is survived by her mother, Earleta Shaw of Poplar Bluff; four sons: Lamarius Shaw, Dezmond McDowell, Dayvion McDowell, and Kyrie McDowell; one brother Jewayne Shaw; two sisters Tanisha Shaw and Charline Johns; one grandchild: Nalani Bound; her cousin caretaker Forrest Gipson. Siletta is preceded in death by her father: Henry Miller and one sister Artechia Shaw. Many friends and many also survive Siletta.

Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church with Bishop Ronnie Webb officiating. Fitch-Hillis funeral home is assisting with all arrangements.
