Sandra L. Cates

Sandra Lea "Sandy" Cates was born on August 4th, 1962. She passed away on Wednesday, June 22nd at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was fifty-three years old at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her mother Doris and her father William Cates of Ohio. She is survived by her roommates and a host of friends. Sandy was a very loving person who enjoyed practical jokes and loved to laugh. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong, independent, affectionate, honest woman. She enjoyed physical activity and always strove to be the best at anything she did. Sandy always enjoyed being the life of the party. Sandy was always ready with open arms and a welcoming smile for those she loved. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and cared for her. Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 10 am at Fitch- Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. Fitch Hillis funeral home will be in charge of the arrangements. Interment will be at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery
