Roxie Miller

Roxie E. Miller, 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died April 25, 2014 in Poplar Celton and Sarah Pogue Celton. She was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Roxie was a member of the Church of Christ. She married Jim H. Miller February 26, 1938 in Greghead County. He preceded her in death. Roxie enjoyed quilting, gardening , and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Philip L. Miller of Shreve Port, La., James F. Miller of Rolla, Mo., Jerry W. Miller of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one daughter, Norma L. Buie of Fair Grove, Mo.; one sister, Sue Graham of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was one son, Rocky L. Miller. Visitation was Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel, followed by the funeral service was at 1 P.M. Dale Swain officiated. Burial was at Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk, Mo.
