Ronald John Lakusiewicz

Doctor Ronald John Lakusiewicz, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born March 3, 1941, Jersey City, New Jersey to Michael Lakusiewicz and Antoinette (Wolikat-Bayonee) Lakusiewicz.

Ronald was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Ronald was an inventor and a writer.  He enjoyed fishing and watching western movies.  Dr. Lakusiewicz was an orthopedic and plastic surgeon for many years at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.  He loved spending time with his wife of over 45 years and his family.

Ronald is survived by his wife: Leticia Lakusiewicz; three sons: Herminio Lim of the Philippines, Edgar Lim of the Philippines and Arnaldo Lim of Oviedo, Florida; one daughter: Purita Castillo of Oviedo, Florida; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents Michael and Antoinette Lakusiewicz.
