Robert Arthur Marshall

Robert Arthur Marshall, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Sept. 6, 1959, in Poplar Bluff to Tom and Clyte (Lacy) Marshall.

Robert was of the Pentecostal faith.  Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and playing pool.  He was a member of the Eagles.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by one son, Bob Marshall, Jr. of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Terry Marshall, and Kenneth Marshall, both of Poplar Bluff; one sister-in- law, Lela Kay Marshall; his girlfriend Sue Blei.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Clyte Marshall; three brothers, Tom Marshall, Dale Marshall, and Allen Marshall; and two sisters, Rose Shirver, and Diane Marshall.  A host of family and friends survive.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel with Kay Marshall officiating.  Interment will follow funeral service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
