Richetta Mae (Ellison) Allen

Richetta Mae Allen, 80, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Richetta was born March 5, 1943, to Herman Ellison and Beatrice (Blackman) Ellison with whom she was preceded in death. Richetta was also preceded in death by her husband Andrew Allen and her sister Audrey Ellison.

Richetta’s hobbies included sewing, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family.

Richetta is survived by seven children; two sons; Kevin and Jeffrey Allen, both of Broseley, MO, five daughters; Toni (Jake) Williams, Marlena Allen, both of Poplar Bluff, MO, Regina Allen, Columbus, GA, Natasha Allen, St. Louis, MO and Nicole (Emmaus) Terry, Phenix City, AL.

Richetta is also survived by one brother, Larry (Jane) Ellison, and four sisters; Valerie Ellison, Genell (Lamar) Cole, Janesta Ellison and Rosalind Ellison, all of Poplar Bluff, MO.

Richetta leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of beloved friends and extended family.
