Percy F. Woods

Percy F. Woods, 84, died October 29, 2012 at Cedar Gate Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was born April 15, 1928 at Fisk, Mo. He was a long time resident of Butler County. Mr. Woods was an Army Veteran serving during World War II. He enjoyed spending time with family, farming, raising hogs, fishing, and watching baseball. He was of the Baptist faith. Percy is survived by one brother, Cecil J. Woods of Broseley; four sisters, Carrie McCombs of Poplar Bluff, Gladys Reed of Kansas City, Myrtle Shew of Broseley, Mo. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Ronald McCain will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery.rvin
