Patrick Edward Kinsey

Patrick Edward Kinsey, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, in his home

surrounded by his loving family.

Patrick was born March 11, 1952, in Denver, Colorado, to Wilson Kinsey and Betty (Merrick) Kinsey.

He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. Patrick loved to watch football, especially the Denver Broncos, and hang out with his friends. He was a member of the American Legion. Patrick loved to spend time with his family, cooking, and baking with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patrick is survived by one son: Greg (Dori) Gaines of Muskegon, Michigan; one daughter: Jackie (Steve) McDonald of Lafayette, Louisiana; one brother Gene Kinsey of Grand Junction, Colorado; one sister: Kathy Kinsey of Grand Junction, Colorado; six grandchildren: Kristy Brannum, Carrie (Clay) Peterson, Lyndon (Nick) Green, Nick McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Jackson McDonald; ten great grandchildren: Korbin Green, Nixon Green, Nora Green, William Ward, Ellie Brannum, Kai Peterson, James Peterson, Colbie Peterson, Piper McDonald, and Evie McDonald. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents: Wilson and Betty Kinsey, one daughter: Karen Brannum. A host of family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at the American Legion Banquet Room, 2320 Kanell Blvd. Poplar Bluff from 5 pm - 8pm.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
