Patricia Ann (Young) Sloan

Patricia Ann Sloan (Young), 72, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Patricia was born Wednesday, April 26, 1950, in St Louis, Missouri.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Surviving are sons: Darrell Sloan and Alvin Sloan of Poplar Bluff, MO; daughters: Jacqueline McCrellis and Doris Mancel, both of Poplar Bluff; sisters: Rosie Mancel and Candy Northcutt, both of St. Louis. 7 grandchildren, and many, many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doris Lee Sloan, in 2020. Also preceding her in death were her parents: father, Jess Young, and mother, Lucy; Siblings: Jimmy Young, Michael Young, Kenneth Young, and Wanda Redden. She was also preceded in death by her son, Patrick Sloan, in 1992.

Services are not planned at this time, and the family will update if a gathering is planned at a later date.
