Patricia Kay Deaton

The world lost a beautiful soul, Patricia Kay Deaton, age 54 of Poplar Bluff on June 7th at her residence.  Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Deloris Fiske, and her father Orin Deaton.

Her closest surviving relatives include her mother Deloris Sue Fiske/Deaton, her brothers Joe Deaton, Charles Deaton, and Richard Deaton, and her sister Leslie Specht.  She also leaves behind her children Lacey Mui, Steven Deaton, Angelica Deaton, Erica Villescas, and Octavio Villescas Jr.  Her grandchildren, Kaiden Mui and Kamryn Mui, Rory Villescas and D'Artanyan Vega.

Patricia Deaton, known to most as Trish, was an immensely loving individual, she loved everyone so deeply her cup of love truly runneth over.  She was a proud member of Memorial Baptist Church.  Many can attest to her exemplary work ethic and determination to love and support those around her.  She was stubborn in the most frustrating and beautiful way.  Trish will be desperately missed.  May we all find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in God's hands.

Her services will be held at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home on Thursday June 14th.  Visitation will be at 11 AM and the funeral will be at 12 PM.  The burial will immediately follow at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be given directly to the funeral home.
