Pansy L. Deason of Poplar Bluff, a retired state employee of the Division of Family Services and the Division of Youth Services, was promoted to be with our Lord on December 6, 2012. Mrs. Deason was born in Madison, Il. on January 14, 1932, daughter of the late Reverend Roy & the late Charity Thomas Teetor. On February 7, 1953 she married her best earthly friend Donald Deason, who was promoted on June 9, 2011. Their devoted loving son Robin D. Deason resides in Springfield, Mo. Other survivors include Tom Simmering, husband of her late sister, Jessie, of Atlanta Ga., and their sons Mark and wife Diane and family of Watkinsville Ga., and Scott and wife Patty and family of Gulf Breeze, Fl. Also surviving are cousins and Deason nieces and nephews whom she very much loved. Pansy treasured her First Assembly of God Church family and worshipping God with them. A brief grave-side gathering at Memorial Gardens Cemetery is planned to occur Saturday December 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., officiated by her Pastor Dan Martin. No flowers please.
