Norman L. Thouvenin

Norman Leroy Thouvenin, 73, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medecal Center. He was born May 1, 1943 In Posey, Illinois to the late Joseph Peter Thouvenin and Luvella Mae Kennedy Thouvenin. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a long time resident of Carter County. He graduated from Central Illinois Township High School. His wife Cora preceded him in death September 11, 2004. He was plastic engineer at MoArk Mold Plastic Factory. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his excise bike and watching sports on T.V. He is survived by one son, Clayton Thouvenin of Knobel, Ark.; one daughter Teresa Whitlow of Holts Summit, Mo. and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Rev. John England will officiate. Burial will be in Military Crossing Cemetery at Williamsville, Mo.
