Nora L. Marshall, 94, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Broseley, died Feb. 22, 1921 in Kentucky to the late Thomas Crowell and Ellen Hooten Crowell. She was a longtime resident of Broseley, Mo. where she met and married William T. Marshall. They both attended the Heritage Freewill Baptist Church. Nora retired as a dietition at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff and worked parttime at the school district before she became a homemaker. She loved cooking, gardening, and her family. Nora is survived by three sons, Bill Marshall (Linda) of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Buddy (Renee) Marshall of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., and Claude Marshall (Pauletta) of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Shirley Gaines (Gene)of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Sue Richman (Troy)of Wappapello, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren and one sister-in-law. Nora was preceded in death by her husband (February 4, 1993),Sisters, brothers, one granddaughter and one great grandson. Visitation will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. and burial at Mole Hill Cemetery in Broseley.
