Myrtle Shaw

Myrtle Shaw, 86, of Broseley, Mo. died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 23, 1930 in Morocco, Mo. to the late Charley Woods and Flora House Woods. Myrtle was a life time resident of Butler County. She attended New Life Ministries Church. She married Willie Shaw June 14, 1948 in Hackett, Ar. He preceded her in death. Myrtle was a nurses aid and worked for Butler County Health. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking cakes. She is survived by one son, Shawn Shaw of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Patricia Jordon of Calumet Park, Ill., Venessa Shaw of Tacoma, Wa., and Anita Shaw Montgomery of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Carrie McCombs of Poplar Bluff, and Gladys Reed of Grandview, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and four Great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Belinda Gilmore. Visitation will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Power House Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Chaplain Ken Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery
