Monshun James Johnson

Monshun James Johnson, 34, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Monshun was born May 8, 1989, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Truman Huges and Ardenia Johnson.

Monshun lived in Poplar Bluff most of his life.  He enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with his friends, listening to music, cracking jokes.  Monshun loved to spend time with his family.

Monshun is survived by one son: Monshun James Johnson, Jr. of Poplar Bluff; one daughter: Dalayzia Johnson of Poplar Bluff; his mother: Ardenia Johnson; three brothers: Marcus Johnson, Sr. of Poplar Bluff, Aaron Johnson of Poplar Bluff, and Tito Hearn of Detroit, Michigan; one sister Yalond Phiffer of Clarksville, Tennessee.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Marcus Johnson officiating.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
