Mildred L. York

Mildred L. York, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 28, 1929 in Detroit, Mi. to the late Robert Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mildred married Arthur E. York March 2, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He survives. Before retiring she was a manager at the credit bureau. She volunteered at the CLC at the First Baptist Church and loved her family. She is also survived by two sons, Larry York of The Woodlawns, Tx., and Dennis Lee York of Anna, Il.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Larry York will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
