Michael Eugene Barnett

Michael Eugene Barnett, 40, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born March 19, 1983, Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Eugene Sonny Barnett and Sharon Jean (Edington) Kizer.

Michael grew up in Poplar Bluff, and spent most of the last 20 years in Jonesboro, Arkansas doing landscape work. He loved art and sold some of his artwork at shows in Texas and Florida. He enjoyed landscaping, drawing, and music.

Michael is survived by his parents: Sharon Jean Kizer and Eugene Sonny Barnett; one sister Hannah Rena (Dustin) Stinson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Matthew Dale Kizer of Poplar Bluff; Nephews: Caleb Gonzales, AJ Gonzales and Aiden Gonzales all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him and will miss Michael dearly. He is preceded in death by his sister Sarah Beth Edington.
