Maryann Ruth Gilliam

MaryAnn “Ruth” Gilliam, 87, of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Ruth was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Qulin, Missouri, to the late Thurman and Tessie (Marler) Bailey.
She was of the Pentecostal faith. Ruth loved to be outdoors, helping with anything her husband was doing; she also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her husband: Delmar Gilliam; one son: Gerald Dewayne Harty; three daughters: Barbara Kay Swift, Joetta Lynn Simmons, and Sara Burnett; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her three siblings.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel in Poplar Bluff. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery at 2 p.m.
