Mary Rosella (Wyrick) Slayton

Mary Rosella Slayton,76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday March 11, 2023, in her home.

She was born October 9, 1946, Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, to the late Paul David Wyrick Sr. and Mary Helen (Miller) Wyrick.

Mary was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff.  She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers.  She loved to spend time with her family.

Mary is survived by one daughter: Mary Donieta Pietrofere of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Paul David Wyrick Jr. of Oklahoma and Charles Lester Wyrick of Oklahoma; three sisters Gloria Michaud of New Jersey, Paula Marie Nesbit of Poplar Bluff and Louise Roberta Phelps of Doniphan; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Mary Wyrick; her husband George Washington Slayton, Sr. and one son George Washington Slayton Jr.
