Mary Katherine Rimer

Mary Katherine Rimer, 96, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, Feb 17, 2020.  She was born Feb 13, 1924 in Hickman, KY to the late Joseph Owen Stafford and Mary Magaline (Birdwell) Stafford.

Mary was a long time resident of Butler County.  She enjoyed being at home for her family, playing bingo with friends, puzzles, and taking long walks.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Joe Rimer of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.  Shew as also blessed with five grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Rimer, and two daughters, Judy K. Clark and Joyce Clark.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 PM Friday at the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel in Poplar Bluff.  Service will be at 1 PM with graveside services at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.  Rev. Greg Gilberto will officiate.
