Mary L. Kirchner

Mary L. Kirchner, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 13, 1938 in Conway, Ark. to the late Virgil Eaton and Glodine Zermatten Eaton. Mary was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was a member of the Scared Heart Catholic Church. She married Edward Kirchner Oct. 18, 1958. He preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one son, Joey Kirchner,May 6, 2012. Before retiring she was a dietary supervisor at a nursing home. Mary enjoyed doing ceramics and embroidery. Surviving are two sons, Timothy Kirchner, and John Kirchner both of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Beatrice Kirchner of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Bernice Stenger of Desoto, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A celabration of life will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the family home at 2413 Thomas St. Poplar Bluff. Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home.
