Mary K. "Haynes" Hendricks

Mo. She was born October 2, 1931 in Broseley, Mo. She was a life time resident of Butler County. Mary was a member of the Southside Assembly of God Church. She was retired from nursing, having worked at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and Oakdale Care Center. She enjoyed reading, traveling and her job. She married Robert Haynes in 1948. He preceded her in death March 30, 1988. She married Curtis Hendricks in 2006. He preceded her in death in 2011. Mrs. Hendricks is survived by one son, Randy Haynes of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one daughter, Janice Thurman of Collierville, Tn.; three sisters, Elizabeth McGhee of Odessa, Tx., Bonnie Starnes of Cuba, Mo., and Erma O'Brien of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren . Also preceding her in death were her parents, Herschel Heifner and Eva Hester Heifner; one brother, Paul Heifner, and an infant daughter, Diane Haynes. Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2013 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday in the Chapel at 10 A.M. The Rev. Jerry Lemons will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to South Side Assembly of God Church.
