Martha Ann Braden

Martha Ann Braden, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Martha was born April 5, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Reva Gains.  She married Harold Braden on August 18, 1990.

Martha was of the Episcopal faith.  She was a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff.  She loved to watch the Three Rivers Raiders Basketball team, traveling out west, and playing games on her computer.   Martha had a passion for helping others while working at the Holy Cross Church food pantry.

Martha is survived by one stepson: Phil Braden; and eight step-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her mother Reva Gains, and her husband Harold Braden.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Graveside Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Shain Memorial Cemetery, in Ash Hill at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Nancarrow officiating.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
