Marjory Manns

Marjory P. Manns, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died December 12, 2016 at Westwood Hills Nursing facility. She was born August 13, 1935 in Butler County, to the late David Walter Edwards and Ida Alexander Edwards. She was a member of the South Poplar Bluff General Baptist church. She married Martin Manns Oct. 20, 1957 in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death July 10, 2015. Marjory was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, fishing, going to church and reading her Bible. She is survived by one daughter, Millie Campbell of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, David Edwards of DeSota Mo., and Robert Edwards of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Louise Ray of House Springs, Mo. and Josephine Martin of Sikeston, Mo.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Angela Campbell; five great grandchildren, Jessie Campbell, Michael Light, Kayla Light, Jonathan Campbell, and Miles Campbell. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Elbert Edwards. A visitation will be Friday at 11 AM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. The Rev. Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
