Lela L. Ladd

Lela L. Ladd, 92, died January 2, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mrs. Ladd was born in Holcomb, Mo. November 30, 1921 to Alfred and Lela Dye. She was a longtime resident of this area. She was of the General Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, reading her Bible, and going to church. She is survived by one son, Tony J. Ladd of St. Genevieve, Mo.; one daughter, Dewania C. Murray of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 in the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Lennis "Dick" Murray will be officiating. Burial will be in Pine City Cemetery in Holcomb, Mo
