K. Vurel Renfroe

Kipling Vurel Renfroe, 95, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1921 at Advance, Mo. to the late Fenton and Berther Hood Renfroe. Mr. Renfroe was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. On April 19. 1947 he was married to Beulah Hopkins. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2014. Vurel proudly served and defended his country during WWII in Italy and Africa. He was retired from Western Southern Insurance. He was a member of the Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge #209 and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his son, Rex and wife Yvonne; grandson Derek and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Natalie and Nicholas. Visitation will be Wednesday at noon at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. withy the Rev. Josh Reasons officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Mo.
