Jesse O. Anderson

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born July 9, 1929 to the late Perry Anderson and Harley Inman Anderson. He was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo. He married Ruth L. Brown May 23, 1949 in Piggott, AR. She survives. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching Cardinal baseball and old westerns on TV. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald Anderson (Mary Ellen); one daughter, Janet Gilmore (Stanley); three grandsons, Kirk Weatherford (Karla), Daniel Anderson (Stacey), Michael Anderson; 11 great grandchildren, Cara Holley, John Zigler, Colten Anderson, Bailey Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Madison Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Chace Anderson, Caden Anderson, Cason Anderson, Nicole Weatherford and one great-great grandchild, Addilyn Holley all of Poplar Bluff, Mo. A visitation will be Wednesday at 10 AM in the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. The Rev. J.C. Bryant will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
