Jeanette June Jones

Jeanette J. Jones, 56, of Wappapello, Mo. died January 28, 2014. Jeanette was born Aug.24, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo., and was a long time resident of Butler County. She was of the Methodist faith. Jeanette was a bartender and cook, a member of the American Legion 153, VFW 6477, and the Eagles. She is survived by her mother Hazel L. Bone of Williamsville, Mo.; one son Roberts Gene Cates, Jr. of Columbia, Mo.; one daughter, Lori Ann Quinton of Wappapello, Mo.; one brother James Walter Deason of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two sisters, Yvonne Sherlene Hughey of Williamsville, Mo., Amy Lorene Acinelli of Farmington, Mo.; and five grandchildren, James Collins of Patterson, Mo., Joanna Martin, April and Ashley Quinton of Wappapello, Mo. and Payton Cates of Poplar Bluff, Mo. A memorial service will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Wappapello VFW at 6:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the VFW at Wappapello in care of Edith Templemire, P.O. Box 9.
