Janet Henson

Janet Henson, 44, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born in St. Louis, Mo. March 8, 1973 to the late Harold Theodore Huskey and Rosa Lee Heacock Huskey. She was a long time resident of Butler County. She was a member of the Twin Springs Baptist Church. Janet was married to Shawn Henson. He survives. She worked on the assembly line at Briggs and Stratton. She enjoyed reading her Bible, dancing, sewing, fishing, and playing with her grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Morgan Cecil, and Christine Aldridge, both of Poplar Bluff; two brothers Robert Huskey of Harviell, Mo. and David Huskey of Van Buren, Mo.; one sister, Doris Ann Hodge of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Edward Huskey and one sister, Barbara Jean Huskey. A visitation will be Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Roger Mayo will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
