James Edward Mellon

James Edward Mellon, 53, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025.

He was born on April 10, 1971, in St. Charles, Missouri, to Roy L. Mellon and Edna B. (House) Mellon.

James enjoyed helping with chores when he could, he loved listening to music, and especially loved spending time with his family.

James is survived by one brother, Ronnie Mellon of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Vanessa (Michael) Simpson of Paragould, Arkansas, and Stephaine Mellon of Poplar Bluff; two nephews, Jordan Tarantino, and Ethan Simpson; one niece Makennah Simpson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Mellon and Edna Devault.  A host of family and friends survive.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
