James L. Jackson

James L. Jackson, 58, a long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born May 14, 1958 in Ripley, Tenn. to James D. Jackson and the late Mary D. Lovell Jackson. James was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed his job very much. He also enjoyed cooking, taking photos, hunting, working on cars, and just being a handy man. He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Jackson of Poplar Bluff: one brother, Bobby Rhea Jackson of Buchanan, Mi.; and one sister, Veronica Jackson Henderson of Ripley, Tenn. A memorial service will be held Nov. 4, 2016, at 3 P.M. at the Mo. State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. James D. Jackson will officiate.
