James Lewis Hastings

James Lewis Hastings, 75 of Rombauer, Missouri died on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at his Residence in Rombauer, Missouri. Mr. Hastings was born Saturday, September 21, 1935. He served as a TSgt in the Air Force from 1954 until 1977, and was a Veteran of Vietnam. James enjoyed hunting, driving hot rods, and was a member of the NRA, and lifetime member of NCOA. On March 1, 1958 he entered into marrige with Halime (Celik) Hastings in Istanbul, Turkey. She survives. Other survivors include, two sons, Thomas A Hastings and wife Tracy, and James L Hastings both of Poplar Bluff, MO; one daughter, Agnes Ayse Canady and husband Donald of Poplar Bluff, MO; two brothers, Richard Hastings, and Larry Hastings both of Poplar Bluff, MO; and three sisters, Diannie Vinson of Poplar Bluff, MO, Myra Logan of Poplar Bluff, MO and Kathern Broz of San Antonio, TX; 7 grand children; 10 great grand children.
