Howard Brown, Jr.

Howard Brown, Jr., 67, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 in his home.

Howard was born October 15, 1956, in Catron, Missouri, to Howard Brown, Sr. and Thelma Thomas.

He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff and loved spending time with his family.  Howard loved to watch sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.  He loved to cook, enjoyed learning about history, and he also loved to watch game shows, especially Jeopardy.

Howard is survived by two daughters: Dana Rogers of St. Louis, MO and Denise Gillon of Wichita, KS; one brother: Kenneth (Mary) Thomas, of Poplar Bluff; four sisters: Jo Margaret (John) Hale of Leesburg, VA, Kathy Thomas of Poplar Bluff, Jacquelyn Jackson of Poplar Bluff, and Carolyn (Aimee) Thomas of Poplar Bluff.  Howard was preceded in death by his parents: Howard Brown, Sr. and Thelma Thomas Walker, one brother: Ronnie Thomas; and two sisters: Shirley Harley and Edna Young.
