Hattie Mae Stratton

Hattie May Stratton, 71, died May 2, 2015, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was born Feb. 10, 1944 in Harviell, Mo. to the late Walter Turner and Goldie Robertson Turner. She was a long time resident of Butler County. She was of the Baptist faith. Hattie married Eldon B. Stratton April 7, 1990. He preceded her in death Jan. 19, 2005 She was a seamstress before retiring. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and yatzee, and being with family and outdoor picnics. She is survived by one son, Jeffrey L. Rightnower of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one stepson, Rudy Stratton (Jane) of West Plains, MO.; three daughters, Linda Hoskins (Tim ) of Broseley, Mo., Kim Kirkpatrick (Rick) of Fairdealing, Mo., Freida Phillips (Scott) of Wappapello, Mo., and Eugenia Lowe (Jeff) of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, Bennie Turner of Florida; two sisters, Rita Faye Miller of Florida, and Barbara Turner of Naylor, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10 AM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Rev. Chris Sheppard will officiate. Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery
