George Donald Johnson

George Donald Johnson, 77, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. He was born May 29, 1943 in Naylor, MO to the late Ado Johnson and Ines E. Johnson. He was a longtime resident of the Naylor area. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed a few good games of pool and watching the Cardinals baseball team. George is survived by 2 sons, John Johnson of Poplar Bluff and Donald E. Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Connie Ervin of Fairdealing, MO; one sister, Christine Wilkerson of St. Louis as well as 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara Jean (Wallace) Johnson and 3 daughters, Mary E. Simms, Barbara A. Woodruff and Rose I. Lucas.
