Evelyn Wills

Evelyn Wills, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Mark Twain Caring Center.  She was born in Doniphan, Mo. February 23, 1935 to the late Delbert Switzer and Nettie Tillman Switzer.  Evelyn was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She married Leo Wills October 16, 1954.  He preceded her in death.

Before retiring Evelyn was a check out clerk at the Dollar Store.  She enjoyed reading her Bible, doing yard work, and playing with her grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by one son, Micheal Wills of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Brenda Huffman of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Elsie Carter, Vennie Biekert, and Lee Groves all of Poplar Bluff; one granddaughter, Amanda Huffman; and two great grandchildren, Ashley Edwards and Damian Edwards.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. May 21, 2019 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M.  the Rev. Vernon Wolverton will officiate.  Burial will be at the Qulin Cemetery.
